Crystal Palace Fantasy Premier League Preview

I will never forget how much hurt this team has put me through and I have endured before finally Liverpool won the league last season, Palace will always be remembered as the team that came back and scored 3 goals against Liverpool in the last 10 mins of the game back in 2013/14 which ultimately was one of the games that ended Liverpool winning the league. But enough of that, Palace have always been around the mark of 45 points when finishing a season which puts them around 11-15th. They finished off the restart with only 1 win and a draw scoring 5 goals and conceding 18 in 9 games.  Even in FPL they are frustrating and even this season I would try and steer clear of any palace players. I don’t see them improving that much this season and especially if Zaha moves on they might be fighting a relegation battle. They did sign Eberechi Eze from QPR. He’s a 22 year old advanced play maker and should do very well. Last season Vincente Guaita was Palace’s top scorer with 137 points, closely f

Burnley Fantasy Premier League Preview

Since coming back up into the Premier League in 2016/17 Burnley have been a consistent mid table team. They just somehow get the job done, they may not play attractive football but they can beat top teams. They have played in qualifiers and Europa league a few seasons ago. Sean Dyche with his raspy voice just pulls his team along nicely, they’ve never been a high goal scoring team with just over an average of a goal a game.   In regards to Fantasy Burnley had 7 players score 100 points or more. For a team who finished 10th last season that is some return. Low ownership players like McNeil, Westwood and Mee got 351 points between them. Last season Nick Pope was very unfortunate not to win the golden glove for the most clean sheets, was pipped by Manchester City keeper Ederson. Pope scored 170 points. Chris Wood scored 14 goals on his way to 136 points, a slight improvement from last season. Dwight McNeil wasn’t too far behind with 123 points with 2 goals and 7 assists. Burnley kept 15

Brighton and Hove Albion Fantasy Premier League Preview 2020/21

Graham Potter’s team went above expectations last season as most thought that they would be relegated and back in the championship for season 2020/21. I feel like many supporters of big teams have a soft spot for a team like Brighton. Last season Brighton did the double over Arsenal and beat Spurs 3-0. They play attractive football as well, they want to play forward and take risks. Potter has gone away from just launching the ball forward in hope to playing possession football, playing out from the back and taking plenty of risks. When they come up against big teams they do hold their own, but they did concede 9 goals to Manchester City over the two games. Maty Ryan has been a very popular choice over the last couple of seasons. He has become one of the top shot stoppers in the league. He scored 135 points last season pulling off 117 saves. He played every single minute in season 2019/20. Closely behind him was Neil Maupay with 131 then Leandro Trossard with 104. Dunk was Brighton’s to

Aston Villa Fantasy Premier League Preview 2020/21

Before football restarted in June after the three month break for coronavirus I wasn’t expecting to be writing this for this team. They surprised everyone and somehow got out of jail and stayed up thanks to a 1-1 draw to West Ham on the final day of the season. If Jack Grealish leaves his boyhood club they go down, actually we will probably find them in the championship next season 2021/22. In regards to Fantasy Premier League there really weren’t any standout players apart from the fore mentioned Jack Grealish. He was the shining light for FPL players from the Villa.  Villa will have no game in Gameweek 1 due to City finishing their season later than most other teams due to champions league commitments. Villa will have at least one double Gameweek this season due to their game against City being rescheduled. They do face Liverpool, Leicester and Arsenal in their first 10 games of the season, they also face two of the promoted teams in Leeds and Fulham which I do see them winning.  Fir

Arsenal Fantasy Preview 2020/21

If I was an Arsenal fan, which I’m not, but if I was I would not want to remember the 2019/20 season. They may of beaten Manchester City on the way to winning their only trophy of the season - FA Cup, but their form in the premier league was very inconsistent. They beat Liverpool 2-1 after Liverpool were crowned champions but they had the league double done over them by relegation battlers Brighton & Hove Albion. Midway through the season the board showed the door to Unai Emery and brought in past player Mikel Arteta. Arteta was assistant to Pep Guardiola at Manchester City. When appointed Arteta made clear that the club had been lead in the wrong direction and that people need to make themselves accountable.   In regards to Fantasy last season Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was the Arsenals highest scorer followed Alexandre Lacazette. Arsenal bought in Pepe from Lille in the summer transfer window back in 2019 along with signing defenders David Luiz and Kieran Tierney. Tierney missed

Guide on How to Play Fantasy Premier League 2020/21

Its that time again, while the professionals are hard at training during pre-season all fantasy coaches are doing their own preseason keeping up to date with all the friendlies that are starting for each club, keeping up with any injury that could happen at training or in a friendly. In the official game every player starts with 100.0m to build a team of 15 players: 2 goalkeepers, 5 defenders, 5 midfielders and 3 forwards. After choosing your 15 players then you must choose a starting eleven. In your starting eleven you can choose a captain who will score you double points for that particular gameweek. You also must choose a Vice-Captain, your VC comes into play if your captain somehow doesn’t play. Below is a suggestion on how to spread your money around your team. I wouldn’t follow it totally but definitely do not spend lots on your defence and goalkeeper. The bulk of your pints w come from your midfield and strikers. When considering who to pick in your team look at the fixture as
